    - abasin is barely dipping below freezing at night, but I guess it's been enough. luckily it has a base elevation of 10,700. Drop down to Dillon and it still feels like fall. Season doesn't really get going until at least December. But it's nice to have the option!

    Sequel to "Art of Flight"?
It appears that with Travis's recent partnership with Toyota a note was written about a sequel to Art of Flight. Since they put on one of the best premier's every time they come through Denver, I'm hoping it's a 2014/2015 show. Anyone have any other rumors on it? http://snowboarding.transworld.net/1000211055/photos/travis-rice-signs-toyota/?pid=53413#ngtop http://travisrice.com/

    - It is a great time of year. Lots of videos coming out and getting ready for the cold weather. Also there are a couple of shops in the area that do some shows in thier stores for free. The down side is living in the midwest I still have a solid 2 months.

“Represent!” - I accidentally bought two in black but since it was on sale I'm keeping them both so I can wearing on back to back mountain days. I also used to get it as my free shirt even thought it was only available is large. Believe me, I'm glad to have people come ask me what the graphic is. Hopefully you'll get more sizes in the "I Love Snow" and the gray tribal one. Unfortunately we can't all be xs or sm :(

“No lies” - Delivered the stability I was promised. After using this board last season I am confident to say I've reached intermediate level. Hopefully this season will bring better snow be and I can start trying jumps on it. I thought it was lighter and more flexible than my previous Burton board. The difference is slight but noticeable and helpful. No regrets and waiting patiently for this season to start.

“What a fun journey it has been...” - This piece of travel luggage has far exceeded what we ever envisioned. We had shot to produce something that was better than anything currently out on the market and we set our sites high. I remember the day that Mike threw out the idea of having a wheelie bag that used a skate truck to create the platform as the best wheelie bag on the market. Having years later Stan design the first prototypes a...

Disc Golf - My New Summer Hobby
I'm going to start by saying that up until two weeks ago I had never played disc golf in my life. Toss a frisbee around: sure. Play a little ultimate: why not. Disc Golf: No clue what's going on. So, when Doug asked me if I felt like playing around I thought to myself "why not?". Overall it was a really fun experience and probably one of the more laid back sports that I have ...

    - The best advise I have recieved on the mental game was from Feldberg. He said something like, "all you have to do is throw it 'there'.. then just put it in... or throw it 'there' and then 'there' .. then put it in.. it's really pretty easy.. that's all you should be thinking about". Think about what you want to do and never about what you don't want to do. Easier said than done... but it really works.

“Thrive Poise” - Riding the Thrive Poise makes for tons of fun for any rider, and overall any terrain. The Poise has a remarkable true twin, full rocker design, which allows you to have balance, pop, as well as that buttery smooth style on any feature in the terrain park! On those powder days, the full rocker design allows riders to comfortably sit on top of the snow without having to set your stance all the way ...

“Thrive Renegade by Matt Foster” - I love this board! I've been riding the 157 renegade for two winter seasons and its the perfect snowboard for parks and powder. It has great control when taking turns down groomers and slashing powder. I float through the powder so effortlessly. A really buttery board on the groomers and the deep powder. Great stability for hitting jumps and smooth control for hitting any rails. If your ...

“One Happy Camper” - As a rider with big park aspirations, my Rome Lo-Fi Rocker just wasn't cutting it. I really enjoyed how playful the rocker was with jibbing and didn't want to lose that catch free feel, but I needed something that responded at higher speeds, bigger jumps, and just bigger all around. When I demo'd the Prestige I had already been on multiple other boards from K2, Burton, Rome, GNU, ...

    Thrive Destination Wheelie Bag
“Snowboard Bag” - I really love this snowboard bag. I had a dakine before and it was just a little too thin. I would always had to take my bindings off my board and my boots didn't fit well. This bag is a little wider and fits my 160w with ease without having to remove my large bindings. My size 11 boots fit in easily and there is plenty of space for the rest of my gear. I have taken it out west twice now and it has held up well.

“Long last comfortable shirts” - I've had two if these shirts for a long time now and they are both still in great condition. Neither has shrunk at all, they barely fade after being washed a lot, and they are still comfortable to wear. At such a low price for these shirts it is a no brainer, buy three!

    New to riding rocker
Hey all, I am pretty new to snowboarding and have only ridden rental boards, all camber I think. I just bought my first board, a Thrive Accomplice,a rocker. My question is... Is there a big difference/learning curve to riding a rocker if you are used to cambers? I have only ridden on non backcountry terrain, but I hope that changes someday. I am an intermediate rider but strive to be advanced enough to hit some jumps, pipe, and backcountry powder one day. Thanks for any help

    - echo.. echo.. What they said^ Some input / thoughts from me... The renegade def falls into the "Quiver Killer" catagory if you ask me. I rode one for 6 or 7 days. If I owned one I would be on it 80% of the time. It's a super fun board! I ride my Bataleon Evil Twin about 80% of the time (the Renegade is very very similar to the ET in the way it rides IMO). I like to mess aro...

Post up your workouts, what you do, etc. Goals, frustrations, achievements... Right now I'm doing crossfit for a month. So far liking the classes since I feel it pushes me and gives me that good kind of sore from a good workout. Hopefully this helps me out when the season starts. - Stickin to my hikes - had a decent hike/free climb over the weekend in Malibu Creek... at one point I had to stop and turn around since there was no more path for a while and I already saw a few rattlers. Was pretty fun though, if you are not following already - http://instagram.com/mackelphip posted some pics there and will start up my hiking shenanigans once again to get back into shape.
