    Where to learn in Tahoe?
Hi all, I was thinking to teach my girlfriend to snowboard in the Tahoe area. Any ideas as to where's the best place for me to teach her? Clearly, Northstar & Heavenly have the largest variety of terrain, but at $100+/ticket, it's not really worth it since she'll only use one lift... Thoughts appreciated!

    - I have a Bolle black helmet and black pants. Not sure which jacket I'll be wearing yet..depends on the conditions. I have the Renegade with the green base. My son will be wearing a mostly blue jacket, black pants, and a silver helmet. (see picture, but witih black pants) My daughter will have a grey jacket, dark grey pants, and an aqua helmet.

    - Day 12 -13 at N* Some great turns on Saturday...first down backside and had 4 more legit powder runs where lines were easy to be had. Overall great day. Second of the two days was arguably more fun in the stashes with some great lines with a big group.

“Bye bye Burton Joystick” - 5'9" 155 rode both the 152 and 156. Background: started off as a camber obsessed speed guy. My buddy bought a Hero and watching him kill it on it changed my perspective on Rocker. Bought a Joystick as it is very stable at high speeds but once I got on the Accomplice it felt like a brick. I basically do not want to ride it anymore. The combination of responsiveness, buttery feel, whi...

“Great, classic rocker ride! My daily go-to board!” - This board is soooo much fun. There's several things I just love about a good continuous rocker board like the 152 Accomplice. Consistent, predictable handling, for example. The Accomplice has a nimble feel with effortless turning, as well as forgiving, predictable edge control. It presses and butters easily while still retaining snappy pop and a stable ride. This kind of dynamic flexibi...

“Renegade rips!” - I can't say enough about this board! I have put this board through every type of terrain between Kirkwood Deep and Boreal park jibbing and it does it well and inspires confidence within the rider. I absolutely love this board. You will see me on the mountain riding Thrive for a long time to come.

    Avalanche Awareness
One of the better videos I have seen put together to get people talking about awareness. Not only does it discuss snowboarding and skiing, but decent discussions with the sledding community. https://vimeo.com/144545554 it's a collaboration among various groups including CAIC and Utah Avalanche Center. Hopefully it gets us all thinking. Edited by nfinit on Nov 4 2015 5:05PM

“Quiver Killer” - The renegade surprisingly kept up to speed on slush and was playful in the park. Ollies seemed easier and the 154 felt as light as my rome agent 152. The reverse camber made riding through the chunks easy while the camber made it great for ploughing through heavy turns. I had ski patrol tell me to slow down several times. It felt stable when bombing the mountain or when i landed off balance or in ...

“Looks great in the flesh” - This hat is very comfy. The colour is very understated but keeps you cool in the midday sun. The logo really pops too which is great. Materials are good, and no signs of wear so far. The fit is slightly larger than the covert cap.
